THE DEFENSE OF EUROPEAN CULINARY HERITAGE
A priority objective for chefs.
Never has an association like EURO-TOQUES been more necessary than today.
EURO-TOQUES is an international organization of chefs that integrates more than 3,500 chefs from 18 countries. It was founded by Pierre Romeyer, Paul Bocuse, Juan Mari Arzak and Pedro Subijana among other illustrious chefs on November 18, 1986, in Brussels, at the request of the then president of the European Commission, Jacques Delors.
In Spain, the association is chaired by Andoni Luis Aduriz and has almost 800 chefs, with regional and provincial delegates.
FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES:
- Protect the Quality and Flavor of food
- Promote the good work of food artisans.
- Protect European culinary heritage in its diversity and origins.
- Defend the safety of healthy eating in food products and promote natural combinations.
- Require correct labeling to give consumers clear information that allows them to make their choice with good criteria.
